Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ'S)

Design

Design is currently scheduled to continue through June 2023; permitting, bidding and construction will last approximately one and a half years; with final connections to public services in approximately three years.

Wells may remain operational for irrigation purposes, but they must be severed from the potable water service to the house. No cross connections are permitted.

This will be determined as part of the design efforts.  The initial intent is to reconstruct Leuttich Lane and Sherrill Lane as a two-lane roadway centered in the platted right-of-way with swales and driveway culverts on both sides.  Design and construction constraints may have impact on the initial intent.  A public meeting will be held during design and residents will receive advance notice when it is scheduled.

Construction

The initial intent is to reconstruct Leuttich Lane and Sherrill Lane as a two-lane roadway centered in the platted right-of-way with swales and driveway culverts on both sides.  The sanitary sewer will be located along the road centerlines.  Design and construction constraints may have impact on the initial intent.  A public meeting will be scheduled during the design process and some of these questions may be addressed.  It is too early to forecast construction impacts precisely at this time.

Financial

Individual costs are unknown at this time; however, grants will be sought by the Village to reduce assessment costs.
